Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

£40,000 - £43,000 + OTE £53K+ Overtime + Bonus + Training + Progression + 30 Days Holiday + 12% Pension

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background looking to join a thriving company, globally renowned in their industry, offering excellent in-house training, fully funded ATEX certification and progression opportunities to management?

Do you want to join a company that offers a flexible shift pattern, a 5% salary bonus and plenty of optional overtime paid at 0.5x to significantly boost your earnings?

In this role you will be performing planned and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery, working on bearings, motors, gear boxes, pumps and heat exchangers. You will also be responsible for safety inspections of the plant's machinery to ensure it is safe and operating efficiently.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for the next step in their career, with a global company that will develop your skills with endless further progression opportunities.

The Role

  • Work in a small team of 8 on reactive and preventative maintenance and resolve equipment failures
  • Maintenance of pumps, gear boxes, motors, bearings and heat exchangers
  • Conduct inspections of various plant machinery to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
  • Participate in plant safety programs and shutdowns

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm and Week 2: 10am-6pm, 37.5 hrs, rotating weekly
