We're partnering with a rapidly growing, family-run engineering firm in Witham, known for delivering expert machinery and production line maintenance across the East and South East. They're now seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled, supportive, and close-knit team.
This role is ideal for a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how - particularly those with experience in FMCG environments who enjoy variety and time on the road.
What's On Offer
- Up to £21 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Overtime paid at one and a half times your hourly rate
- Travel time paid (to and from site, starting from Witham)

The Role
- Carry out on-site maintenance and repair work across client facilities
- Diagnose and fix mechanical faults, with some electrical involvement
- Inspect, repair, and rebuild conveyor systems and machinery
- Respond to breakdowns and perform scheduled maintenance

What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical engineering background, or automotive experience such as engine rebuilds
- Basic electrical maintenance experience
- Previous experience in FMCG or fast-paced production environments is a big advantage
- Self-motivated, flexible, and reliable
- Full UK driving licence is essential
