ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Elm
Salary: £44,000 - £48,000
Shift: Sunday - Thursday (6:00-14:30)

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Electrical Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing site, where you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the site's production plant and equipment.

You will be responsible for providing a hands-on engineering resource across the site, carrying out electrical fault-finding, reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and general site maintenance. You will be working closely with the production team to minimise downtime and ensure all equipment remains operational and efficient.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety, hygiene, GMP and production policies, procedures and standards are consistently adhered to.

Sector: Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience carrying out planned, preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
  • Experience maintaining production machinery, site services and facilities.
  • Experience responding to breakdowns and production demands.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Experience working within a food manufacturing or GMP environment.
  • Experience working with site services including electrical, water and fire systems.
  • Experience completing PPM schedules and engineering work requests.
  • Knowledge of GMP and hygiene standards.
