Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

Location: Leicestershire

Contract Type: Permanent Night Shift

Salary: £60,000 - £62,000 DOE

Role Overview – Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join one of the area’s growing manufacturers has come up. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will help ensure current standards continue to be met as well as promoting a culture of improvement across the site.

You will be joining a team of Maintenance Engineers that is mixed and long-standing who offer great support with lots of opportunities for development and promotion.

Job Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer

  • Proactive and planned maintenance activities.
  • Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.
  • Involvement in projects as well as continuous improvement work.
  • Maintaining H&S standards and working to strict legislation on site.

  • Fully qualified engineer - ideally apprentice trained or equivalent level 3 qualification.
  • Experience working in multi-skilled roles covering both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments (Food, FMCG etc)
