Our client, a leading organisation within the power generation sector, is seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join their engineering and maintenance team at a power station.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to work within a critical power generation environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment.

The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across the power station.
  • Maintaining, inspecting and repairing a wide range of mechanical plant and rotating equipment, ensuring assets remain safe, reliable and fully operational.
  • Working on equipment including pumps, valves, compressors, fans, conveyors, gearboxes, motors and associated mechanical systems.
  • Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise equipment downtime and maintain plant availability.
  • Completing routine inspections and identifying potential mechanical issues before they develop into major failures.
  • Working safely in accordance with site procedures, permit-to-work systems and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Supporting the wider engineering team during planned maintenance outages and shutdowns.
