Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Leicester - £57,500 Basic (OTE £65,000+)
Location: Leicester
Salary: £57,500 basic per year, with realistic on-target earnings of £65,000+ including overtime
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off continental shifts, covering days and nights

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturer at their modern, highly automated Leicester facility.

What you will be doing
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of automated production equipment, including automated production machinery, conveyors and material handling systems, presses and manufacturing equipment, robotics and automated systems, and electrical and mechanical plant equipment.

Key responsibilities:
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Working on 3-phase systems, motors, sensors and control equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the site
What we are looking for
Essential requirements:
- Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled)
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a 5 on 5 off or 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
