£41,377.96 including contractual overtime and bonus (to be discussed at interview)
Casual overtime also available

Hours
39 Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm (3.30pm finish on a Friday)

Base Location
South Sefton Household Waste Recycling Centre, Bootle, Merseyside, L204AE - you will be travelling to our sites.

Interviews
A stick welding test will be required at the interview
Interviews to take place week commencing 24th August onwards

What will you be doing?
You will have access to a 3.5ton tipper truck with all associated equipment on board to visit our sites on a day to day basis, which include household waste recycling facilities, waste transfer stations and material recovery facilities.

  • Workshop fabrication hot works, welding, burning and grinding
  • Fabrication works include steps, platforms and steelworks
  • Repairs on intruder fence panels, cages, containers and locks
  • Handrail installation and repair.
  • Use of workshop and hand held power tools
  • Use of COSHH associated products
  • All site general maintenance tasks

What are we looking for?

  • Welding Certification Level 1, 2 and 3 as a minimum
  • Provide Fabrication experience UKCA
  • Previous Welding / Fabrication experience
  • General maintenance repairs experience
  • Permit to Work experience
  • A wealth of Health and Safety awareness
  • Full UK driving Licence
