Maintenance Fitter (Industrial Machinery)

£32,000 - £35,000 + 4 Day Work Week + Early Thursday Finish + On-Site Parking + Overtime + Progression

Are you a Maintenance Fitter with a mechanical background, looking to join a growing manufacturer where you will work on bespoke industrial machinery across a variety of customer sites?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established industrial machinery manufacturer, specialising in conveyor systems and hydraulic press out machines. Based in Blackburn, the company has almost 40 years of experience designing, manufacturing, installing and servicing bespoke machinery.

Your role will involve carrying out site-based installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.

You will work on a variety of mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes and motors, diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

This role would suit a Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Fitter, with experience working with pumps and motors.

The Role

  • Carry out installation and commissioning of new industrial machinery and equipment
  • Undertake planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on customer sites
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns

Monday to Wednesday, 7:30am - 5:45pm; Thursday, 7:30am - 4:45pm

The Person

  • Experience working as a Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
  • Full UK driving license
