Maintenance Lead
Location: Wolverhampton, UK
Reporting to: Director - Operations & Engineering
Function: Operations
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm
Salary: Competitive
Summary
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Lead to take ownership of maintenance activities across our Wolverhampton site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, contractor management, and minimizing downtime while ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.

What Success Looks Like
- Coordinate and maintain all site maintenance activities, including external contractors.
- Manage and maintain the MaintainX maintenance management system.
- Assign, prioritize and monitor maintenance work orders.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes effectively.
- Diagnose equipment failures and coordinate timely repairs.
- Support equipment installations, commissioning and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Manage spare parts inventory and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

What You Bring
- Proven experience in planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing, production, or process environment.
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Team Leader, or a strong maintenance professional ready to step into a leadership role.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with either an electrical or mechanical bias.
- 17th edition or NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, equivalent qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
