Maintenance Manager

I’m delighted to be exclusively partnering with Taff to recruit a Maintenance Manager to join their Property Services team in Cardiff.

This is a key role within the Property Services Team, leading Taff’s in-house repairs function and helping deliver high-quality, safe and efficient maintenance services across all their homes.

The Role

Taff is committed to providing good quality, affordable and safe homes, and this role is key to achieving that.

You’ll lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused responsive repairs and voids service, ensuring repairs are delivered safely, efficiently and compliantly, while meeting the needs of tenants and organisational priorities.

You’ll have overall responsibility for:

  • Responsive repairs and voids
  • Planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
  • Fleet operations
  • Supplier and contractor relationships
  • Performance, productivity and service improvement
  • Budgets, resources and value for money
  • Health and safety, compliance and operational standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
