Maintenance Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team at Par Sands Holiday Park.
We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on leader who can oversee all aspects of maintenance operations across the park whilst building, developing and inspiring a happy, engaged, and proactive maintenance and grounds team.
This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining high standards across our park infrastructure, holiday homes, facilities, grounds, and compliance requirements, ensuring an exceptional experience for our owners and guests.
Job Duties
- Lead, manage, motivate and develop the maintenance team.
- Create a positive, supportive and proactive department culture.
- Plan and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
- Manage all aspects of holiday home maintenance and repair.
- Coordinate and oversee the movement, siting, commissioning and de-siting of holiday homes.
- Ensure the park grounds, infrastructure and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Complete and review Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Manage contractors and oversee project work on site.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Deliver excellent customer service to owners and guests.

Requirements
- Previous holiday park experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven experience leading, training and developing teams.
- Experience creating a positive and productive team culture.
- Extensive knowledge of holiday home maintenance and repair.
- Practical experience of moving, siting and commissioning holiday homes.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience completing Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Desirable Skills
- Pool Plant experience or qualification.
- Trade qualifications in plumbing, electrical, carpentry or mechanical disciplines.
