Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager looking for your next challenge in a unique and prestigious environment?

Ragdale Hall Spa is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance function, ensuring our exceptional facilities, plant, equipment and estate are maintained to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading destination spas, where guest experience, quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role:

Reporting to the Property & Projects Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the maintenance department, confidently leading a skilled team and overseeing all maintenance, engineering, refurbishment and compliance activities across the estate.

You will:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a maintenance team of twelve.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Oversee site compliance, including fire, water and electrical safety.
  • Manage contractors, service agreements and refurbishment projects.
  • Control departmental budgets and purchasing activities.
  • Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure maintenance work is delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests and colleagues.
  • Work closely with department heads and senior managers to support the operational needs of the business.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has proven maintenance or facilities management leadership experience.
  • Possesses strong technical knowledge across building services and maintenance operations.
  • Is confident managing contractors, projects and compliance requirements.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational management.
  • Is passionate about delivering high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Shares our commitment to exceptional guest and colleague experiences.
  • Has previous experience of managing a CAFM system, and knowledge of planned, preventative maintenance (PPM).

Previous experience of a hospitality environment would be advantageous, but not essential.

Working Hours:

  • 40-43 hours per week, between the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm, predominantly Monday – Friday, but may involve some weekend working.

Salary:

  • Competitive
