A highly successful division of a global manufacturing organisation supplying complex components to the aerospace, automotive & high technology has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Manager. Joining at a time of investment and company growth, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance function, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe, efficient and productive manufacturing environment.
The position offers excellent career development opportunities within a leading group.
The Role
- Lead, manage and develop the maintenance team.
- Ensure all plant, machinery and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
- Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Identify opportunities to improve machinery efficiency, reliability and productivity.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with all relevant health & safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the maintenance budget and control expenditure.
- Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with other leadership team colleagues to achieve site objectives.
- Coach, mentor and develop the maintenance team.

- Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager or similar senior maintenance role.
- Experience managing and developing maintenance teams.
- A strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
- A hands-on, practical approach combined with strong management capability.
