We are looking for a forward-thinking, analytical, and hands-on maintenance professional who can combine strong engineering knowledge with the ability to lead, influence, and develop others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Maintenance Manager cover across the Rotherham and Barnsley sites during periods of annual leave.
  • Develop and deliver a long-term maintenance and asset reliability strategy.
  • Lead failure analysis, fault elimination, and asset reliability improvement activities.
  • Identify risks associated with critical assets and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and integrate condition-based monitoring processes to improve asset reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Review, improve, and optimise Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Develop and implement asset care plans using RCM and FMEA principles.
  • Support improvements to production processes, equipment performance, and overall machine output.
  • Analyse CMMS data, downtime trends, maintenance performance, and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
  • Create, implement, and maintain robust planned maintenance standards and procedures.
  • Lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to identify and deliver reliability improvements.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor maintenance team members, promoting reliability-focused working practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are prioritised effectively and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Travel between Yorkshire sites as required to support operational and maintenance requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
