Role Introduction
As Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the delivery of maintenance and estate management services across Barry Buddon Training Centre, ensuring critical infrastructure remains safe, compliant and fully operational. Your leadership will directly support military training activities by driving high standards of maintenance performance, health and safety, and customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse estate, lead a skilled team and make a tangible impact on the Defence Training Estate.

Salary: £ 45909.42
Location: Barry Buddon Training Centre, Dundee
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, On-site
Hours: 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (Early finish on a Friday)
Travel: Occasional travel to regional sites and participation in an on-call rota

Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team, promoting high performance, wellbeing and excellent customer service.
- Manage the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance activities to achieve contractual performance targets.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, COSHH, Building Regulations and company procedures.
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors, monitoring safety, quality, performance and value for money.
- Manage maintenance budgets, review quotations and ensure cost-effective delivery of services.
- Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners, acting as a key point of contact for maintenance matters.
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and asset information using CAFM systems and reporting tools.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Level 4 qualification (NVQ, HND, City & Guilds or equivalent) in an electrical or relevant maintenance discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in property maintenance, facilities management or built estate maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations, COSHH, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Proven experience managing maintenance teams, contractors and service providers.
- Experience managing maintenance programmes, resource planning, budgets and performance delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and CAFM systems.
- Electrical background with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain Authorised Person (AP) status.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rota and travel when required.
Desirable
- Existing Authorised Person (AP) qualification.
- Experience within MOD, defence, military training environments or complex operational estates.
- Prince2, IOSH Managing Safely or similar management qualification.
- Experience driving service improvement and change initiatives.
