About the Role

A leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their senior engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking engineering leader with a strong background in reliability, continuous improvement, condition-based maintenance, and asset care within a fast-paced production environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving maintenance strategies, and leading a skilled engineering team across a highly automated manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Engineers, Supervisors, and Reliability personnel.
  • Drive improvements in plant reliability, OEE, and asset performance.
  • Implement and develop Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) programmes including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Develop reliability-centred maintenance strategies and asset care plans.
  • Utilise CMMS systems to monitor maintenance performance and optimise maintenance schedules.
  • Analyse downtime trends and execute root cause analysis to eliminate recurring failures.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, contractor performance, and spare parts strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
