We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the Head of Estates, this role is responsible for managing maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring all sites operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the maintenance function across multiple sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and disruption to the business is minimised.
- Manage maintenance schedules and prioritise works according to operational requirements and business impact.
- Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, and compliance requirements are completed on time, including fire, electrical, HVAC, water, and gas systems.
- Lead, develop, and support a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, creating a collaborative, professional, and safety-focused environment.
- Manage third-party contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered to the required quality, within agreed costs, and in line with health & safety requirements.
- Support the Head of Estates with maintenance budgets, procurement, and supplier management, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and value for money.
- Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs and service levels, addressing any issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Support refurbishments, upgrades, new openings, closures, and other property projects, providing technical advice and coordinating maintenance-related works.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance, ensuring risk assessments, method statements, and other required documentation are kept up to date.

About You
- Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally within hospitality, leisure, or multi-site operations.
- Strong understanding of building systems, health and safety, and statutory compliance.
- Experienced in managing teams and external contractors.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Financially aware, with experience managing budgets and procurement.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and proactive in addressing maintenance challenges.
Working Hours: This role may involve out-of-hours work, including evenings and weekends, to meet operational and emergency maintenance requirements.
