We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our North East manufacturing sites. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and at maximum performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage maintenance activities across production and facility operations.
  • Drive machine reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, BRC, and ISO standards.
  • Monitor and report maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
  • Support capital and operational improvement projects.
  • Develop and coach maintenance team members to build technical capability and engagement.
  • Manage facilities maintenance requirements to ensure efficient site operations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintenance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM programs.
  • Understanding of electrical regulations (17th or 18th Edition preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Printing, packaging, carton manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
  • Experience with Heidelberg, Komori, Bobst, Jagenberg, or similar production equipment.
  • Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing machinery and automation systems.
