Radio City is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated maintenance team.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled handy person with a keen interest in maintenance, DIY and facilities upkeep. In this role, you’ll be responsible for addressing day-to-day reactive maintenance issues across the school site and grounds, helping to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for our students and colleagues.

You’ll also raise jobs, arrange maintenance of equipment and vehicles, liaise with contractors on and off-site and respond to ad-hoc requests from management as needed. The role includes both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

About Us

Radio City are an independent, specialist school providing education to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and neurodivergent conditions, such as an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and learning disabilities. Our young people have often had negative experiences in school with substantial gaps in their education.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
