Located in the Heart of London
Role
Novotel London Waterloo with its 187 Bedrooms, 6 Meeting Rooms, Bar, Restaurant, and Fitness & Sauna is looking for a Maintenance Manager.
About the Position
Are you an ambitious assistant in a Maintenance department or a Maintenance manager of a smaller sized hotel and are you looking to work in a fun, stimulating and engaging environment? If so, we would like to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As our Maintenance Manager, you will:
- Enjoy learning yourself whilst developing and teaching the members of your team.
- Manage a team of two and work in close collaboration with the Rooms and F&B departments to ensure the highest quality of stay for our guests.
- Be responsible for everything that is preventive maintenance, health & safety, and fire safety.
- Manage your monthly spent in terms of energy and consumables as per the hotel’s budgets and forecasts, as well as larger technical Capex projects and Hotel Capex projects from a maintenance point of view.
- Participate in management meetings and Duty Manager shifts.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
- Previous management or leadership role required.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable.
