Job Purpose and Impact
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance and troubleshoot production or warehouse machinery typically focused on multiple trades with regular guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to complete preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance to ensure assets are maintained to ensure the effectiveness of the facility.
Key Accountabilities
- Utilize maintenance and reliability practices with some guidance to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used.
- Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility, with limited direction.
- Leverage knowledge and ability to operate 1 or 2 standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventative maintenance technology tools.
- Demonstrate experience in 1 or 2 maintenance trades and components (e.g., electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
- Modify with some direction or instruction in either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.
- Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts following standard production documentation to deliver to the correct location.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- You have experience with preventive, corrective maintenance and preferably have worked during shutdowns in an industrial environment.
- You have a broad mechanical background (pumps, valves,...). Experience with heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
- You have a professional level of English (spoken and written)
- You have a hands-on mindset and like to work on tasks independently.

Extra Information
The site is difficult to reach with public transport. Your own transport/car is necessary for daily commute.
Shift regime: 6am/2pm; 2pm/10pm; 10pm/6am
