Position: Maintenance Officer
Location: Cumnock, East Ayrshire
Salary: EVH Grade 7 £42,707 to £46,895
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 12 noon on Wednesday 12th August 2026
Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday including flexible hybrid working.

Based in Cumnock, Shire Housing Association manages 968 properties across East Ayrshire, and we are offering an opportunity to join the staff team as our Maintenance Officer. The role provides a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with commitment, energy, and ideas to develop and progress their career with the Association.

We are seeking a Maintenance Officer who can provide high-quality integrated Maintenance Services to customers that uphold our values and vision while supporting the Asset Manager to deliver and review our Asset Management plans ensuring our stock meets the Scottish Housing Quality Standard, is energy efficient and maintained to the highest standards.
With knowledge of Procurement and Contract Management practice which complies with our contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements, you must be a strong team player, able to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders in providing excellent customer-focused services.
