Maintenance Operative
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established residential property client for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment, handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Conduct inspections and identify issues in apartments and common areas
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and tools
- Coordinate with external contractors for larger repairs and projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to handle emergency situations and after-hours work
