Maintenance Operative

Location: Prime Residential Estate, North West London

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Be the Face of a Prestigious Residential Estate

We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading property brands for a Maintenance Operative to join a prestigious residential estate in North West London.

This is far more than a traditional maintenance role. You'll be the day-to-day face of the estate, building strong relationships with residents, liaising with the client and ensuring the development is maintained to an exceptional standard.

If you're hands-on, take pride in your work and enjoy dealing with people just as much as carrying out repairs, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Role

No two days are the same. You'll combine practical maintenance duties with resident engagement, contractor coordination and estate operations to help deliver an outstanding living environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and decorating across the estate.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents with maintenance-related queries.
  • Coordinating specialist contractors and overseeing works on site.
  • Completing regular inspections of communal areas and vacant properties.
  • Conducting routine health & safety, fire safety and security checks.
  • Managing keys and contractor access.
  • Welcoming new residents and supporting move-ins where required.
  • Ensuring communal areas remain clean, safe and presented to a high standard.
  • Working closely with the client and wider property management team to ensure a first-class service is delivered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
