Job Description
Maintenance Operative
Salary: £13.05 per hour.
Working Hours: 21 hours per week
Service: Essential Care and Support
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our team in Blackhall Colliery, working at Abbeyvale Care Centre.

- Undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture building and furniture removals, grounds and site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy generally.
- Complete minor repairs.
- Manage and prioritise own workload in order to complete repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with KPI/SLA timescales.
- Communicate effectively with building occupiers to minimise inconvenience when planning and undertaking building maintenance.
- Carry out such other maintenance duties as required or delegated by the Maintenance Team Leader or Operational teams.
- Ensuring that quality standards are met regarding all compliance, planned and preventative maintenance records.
- Ensure our services remain an environmentally safe place to live for the people we support.
- Ensure National Care Group’s vision and values are always adhered to.
