Scape Hammersmith
Hours: 40 hours per week, shift patterns between 7am-8pm, Monday-Sunday.
Onboarding: The successful candidate will be asked to complete a DBS check and provide references to cover the last 3 years.
Maintenance Operative Hours: 40 hours per week to cover 7am-8pm, Monday-Friday. You will also be part of an on-call rota which will include evenings and weekends.
Your Main Responsibilities Include
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrical, guttering, decorating, plastering, kitchen and bathroom maintenance and more)
- Carry out fault finding and leak investigations
- Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations
- Comply with Health & Safety processes and responsibilities
- Complete reports and paperwork as required
- Oversee and work alongside the maintenance team of your site and the work carried out
- Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels
- Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager
- Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site
- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Participate in regular, structured on-call system within the UK
- To be responsible for all keys and locks within the site
- Undertake painting duties where applicable
- Adhere to procedures to ensure that all maintenance issues are completed in a timely and correct manner, efficiently, economically and for the benefit of the site and the company
- To be aware of and adhere to all company Policies and Procedures
- Reporting all incidents/accidents to the Maintenance Manager, filling in the accident book when required and log all incidents/accidents in the Health & Safety computerised system
- To observe good personal hygiene and appearance including uniform
- Participate in any training sessions as required
