About The Role
To undertake routine inspections and maintenance of structures across the DBFO Network, including bridges, gantries, and smaller assets. The role involves both manual work and record-keeping, including updating systems and logs. The successful candidate will require strong IT skills, plan and allocate team tasks, provide feedback to their line manager, and operate small plant as part of the works.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver work in line with agreed schedules.
- Apply effective IT skills to support tasks.
- Demonstrate commitment and a positive approach to work.
- Undertake duties that may involve physical activity.
- Show flexibility in working hours, including occasional night shifts.
- Safely operate small plant and equipment
Who we're looking for
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
- SSSTS qualification.
- CSCS card holder.
- Experience in small works.
- Soft estates skills (e.g. strimming, hedge cutting).
- Working at height (MEWPs and gantry access ladders).
- Confined space certification.
- Full driving licence

About Us
Connect Plus Services (CPS) brings together the collective strength of our parent companies - Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis Road Operation UK. With around 600 people, based at eight locations across the M25 network, we work on behalf of Connect Plus and National Highways to manage the operation of the M25 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from routine maintenance to managing the whole-life requirement of thousands of assets across the network.
