- Ensure all facilities are maintained to brand standards and kept safe, presentable and operational.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests from customers, front of house teams and managers.
- Carry out routine compliance checks, including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting tests and refuge point checks.
- Complete basic repairs and maintenance, including joinery, plumbing, drainage, painting, decorating and building fabric repairs.
- Support matchday operations, including responding to leaks, remedial works, plant equipment faults and other urgent maintenance requests.
- Assist with pre- and post-event stadium checks, identifying issues and completing appropriate remedial works.
- Support general grounds work, external cleaning, manual excavation and event set-up when required.
- Assist with emergency breakdowns, out-of-hours call-outs and maintenance cover for events and outground fixtures.
- Work safely and professionally at all times, supporting contractors, other trades, risk assessments and safe systems of work where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
