We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Painter to work across our two local potato packing sites in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work:
Monday to Friday - Fixed shift, working 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs

Responsibilities
- Maintain painting of all indoor and outdoor spaces
- Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces trimmings and fixtures of building and other structures
- Maintain painting equipment and storage area
- Prepare surfaces for decoration by removing old paint
- Fill nail holes, cracks and joints prior to painting
- Protect floors, base boards, door frames and use masking tape around windows to protect any surfaces
- Set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level and scaffolding for high level work
- Complete basic repair tasks around site as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a painting role is advantageous
- Good level of numeracy & literacy
- Excellent attention to detail and organised
- Motivated and able to work based on own initiative
- Driving licence to travel between the two sites (these are within a 3 mile radius)
- Physical fitness and capability to manage requirements of the role
- Commitment to following safety standards and procedures at all times
