Maintenance Person (Ongoing Role)
Location: Bath (BA2)
Pay: £14.31 per hour
Working Hours: Flexible between 8:00/9:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate
We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a busy student accommodation site in central Bath.
This is a hands-on role where you'll help ensure rooms and communal areas are safe, functional, and ready for residents ahead of the new academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the building.
- Repair door handles, locks, furniture, fittings, and fixtures.
- Replace light bulbs and complete basic electrical repairs.
- Undertake minor plumbing tasks, including fixing taps, unblocking drains, and replacing shower doors.
- Complete painting touch-ups and minor decorating work.
- Inspect appliances and report any faults.
- Ensure all rooms meet health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the site team.
- Support the wider team in preparing accommodation for incoming residents.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, caretaking, or facilities role.
- Practical skills across general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- A commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Immediate availability.
