4 on, 4 off day shift pattern

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client operates within the aerospace and defence sector, delivering essential airworthiness and maintenance support services across a range of specialist functions. Working alongside engineering, technical services and material support teams, they play a key role in ensuring aircraft maintenance is effectively planned and delivered. They are now looking for an experienced Short Term Maintenance Planner to support A400M maintenance operations at Brize Norton.
THE SHORT-TERM MAINTENANCE PLANNER ROLE:
As a Short-Term Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining short-term maintenance plans to support the delivery of A400M maintenance activities over a three-month planning horizon. You will work closely with operational planning, technical services, configuration engineering and material support teams to ensure maintenance requirements are accurately identified, coordinated and incorporated into wider operational plans.

Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with the IOC Planning Focal Point to understand and manage day-to-day priorities.
- Developing and delivering short-term maintenance plans covering a three-month period.
- Identifying maintenance task requirements and ensuring activities are incorporated into the Flying Programme (Fly Pro) and Integrated Through-Life Plan (ITLP).
- Maintaining accurate A400M planning data within the Maintenance Data System (MDS).
- Coordinating with Technical Services Engineers, Configuration Engineers, Material Support and relevant maintenance organisations.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Regulatory Articles (RAs) and Atlas procedures.
- Attending daily operational calls and providing maintenance planning updates.
- Supporting assigned projects and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

SHORT TERM MAINTENANCE PLANNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the airline industry.
- Previous CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) experience.
- Experience of maintenance planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities.
- Ability to liaise effectively with engineering, technical and operational stakeholders.
