Warwickshire base with projects globally
Sector
Heavy engineering, maintenance, CNC and manual machining
Salary
£50,000 - £65,000, car or allowance, bonus, paid overtime
Visa Support
Potentially for an outstanding candidate
Experience Required
- A good understanding of CNC and manual machining when used for the maintenance of heavy engineering components - grinding, turning, boring, finishing, dressing etc. Jobs are worked on a project by project basis and range from £30k to £1 million and require project teams to be managed comprising 10-50 people. This is not a volume manufacturing operation
- Welding and fabrication experience as heavy engineering maintenance process experience is preferred
- Strong appreciation of health and safety requirements in a heavy engineering environment
- Good commercial awareness, able to manage costs
- Strong project management skills, ideally proficient with MS Project
- People management experience
- Able to travel to customer sites when necessary. These can be international and will require occasional time away from home overnight
