Job Description

Our client, a north sea operator, is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Scheduler based in Aberdeen. This will be a PAYE contract role until the end of June 2027. Hybrid working is available, with 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work alongside the existing scheduler and coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, and Integrity teams. Main activities will include:

  • Maintain an achievable 21-day schedule for operational, maintenance, inspection, integrity, and assurance activities.
  • Provide analysis of weekly attainment, deferral requirements, and maintenance look ahead.
  • Improve programme quality and data visibility in Maximo, including maintenance-improvement work and technical data requests.
  • Analyze weekly backlog entries, report causes to onshore and offshore management, and reschedule work where practicable.
  • Support backlog reduction, improve coordination across teams, and protect focus on critical operational priorities.
