Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Nights
Sheffield
Up to £50,000 + 30% night shift premium – up to £65,000
22:00–06:15 | 37.5 hours | Early Friday finish
I'm recruiting a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading global aerospace OEM in Sheffield.
This is a senior hands-on role within a high-tech CNC manufacturing environment. You'll still be on the tools, but with greater responsibility for complex breakdowns, preventative maintenance strategy, root cause investigations and equipment reliability.

We're looking for:
- Strong electrical bias with multi-skilled maintenance experience
- Significant CNC machine maintenance experience
- Advanced electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding
- PLC/HMI fault finding
- Root cause analysis and reliability improvement experience
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor other engineers
- Level 3 apprenticeship, HNC/HND, degree or equivalent
- Ideally 7+ years' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience
FANUC and/or Siemens experience would be particularly useful.

Salary is up to £50,000 + 30% night shift premium, taking total earnings to £65,000, plus annual bonus, generous employer pension contribution, private medical cover, Christmas shutdown and further benefits.
Permanent onsite position. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance aren't available.
