With modern trackside short-term accommodation and a performance-led Gallery to enjoy up-close viewing of top-level racing, dining, and wellness, we have created a space which seamlessly merges hospitality and motorsport in an original way, right on the edge of the Silverstone racetrack.

Job Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity in our Escapade Team for a Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our venue and facilities operate seamlessly at the highest standards of performance and presentation. Working with the Facilities and Estates Team, you will supervise day-to-day maintenance activity, support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes, and respond quickly and effectively to reactive maintenance requirements.

You will take a proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact our guests or operations, ensuring Escapade remains fully functional, impeccably presented and aligned with our commitment to exceptional standards.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Maintenance Manager, Escapade and Silverstone Management & Staff.
  • External: Guests, Contractors and Vendors

Silverstone is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk and expects all team members and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and DBS checks at the appropriate level will be obtained prior to employment commencing.

Key Responsibilities

To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning guest experience through:

General Maintenance & Repairs:

  • Carry out a broad range of general building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, joinery, plumbing, ceiling repairs, re-lamping, carpet and flooring repairs, tiling and furniture adjustments.
  • Undertake minor painting, decorating and general upkeep as required.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other building systems, within the scope of your competence and relevant qualifications.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance requests, emergencies and guest related maintenance issues, minimising disruption to the operation.
  • Assist with the coordination and supervision of external contractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Identify recurring faults and opportunities for improvement, escalating recommendations to the Maintenance Manager.

Facilities Operations & Compliance:

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Facilities & Estates team, ensuring maintenance tasks are prioritised, completed efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to maintain the venue, accommodation and facilities to the standards expected by our guests, colleagues and brand.
  • Support the implementation and delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
  • Carry out regular inspections of guest accommodation, public areas, back-of-house spaces and site infrastructure, identifying defects, maintenance requirements and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct daily site walks to ensure the site remains safe, clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Identify and promptly address or escalate issues relating to rubbish, debris, waste, damage or general presentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, defects, works completed and actions outstanding to support reporting, audit and continuous improvement.
  • Support regular compliance checks across building systems and safety-critical infrastructure, ensuring statutory and internal requirements are met.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation, risk assessments, method statements and company procedures.
  • Liaise closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage and other operational teams to plan and coordinate maintenance activity around guest requirements and business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports through the property’s maintenance management system.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to support maintenance, repair and improvement projects.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in monitoring contractor performance, quality of work and compliance with site requirements.
  • Train, coach and support maintenance team members, promoting high standards, teamwork and continuous development.
  • Promote and actively support Escapade Silverstone’s sustainability initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, energy consumption and environmental impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
