What You’ll Do
- You will be responsible for carrying out any repair or rectifying any maintenance issues throughout the hotel as and when they arise
- Coordinate rooms preventative maintenance
- Monitor the rooms preventative maintenance system, transcendent
- You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests
- You will perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment
- You will be an excellent communicator and build excellent relationships with departments across the hotel
- Report on any new or developing engineering works that need to be addressed to the Engineering Manager
- Act as a number 2 in the department being second in command
- Assist with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc
- Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel
- Assist with inventory organisation and ordering

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends on shifts covering the core hours of 8am – 6pm and working on an on-call rota.
