Maintenance Supervisor (Days)
Salary: From £46,246.23 per annum + Up to £8,000 in AP Allowances + £2,000 Retention Bonus
Shift Pattern: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00)

Are you an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Lead looking for a clear step up into management with guaranteed daytime hours and exceptional earning potential?
G4S Facilities Management is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to direct our day-shift engineering team at a prestigious site in Cheltenham. You’ll oversee site compliance, coordinate reactive and planned works, and mentor a team of skilled technicians—all supported by industry-leading allowances and training.

- High Earning Potential: Base salary from £46,246.23, plus up to £8,000 per year in extra allowances for Authorised Person (AP) duties.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Team Leadership: Direct, supervise, and mentor the day-shift maintenance team, managing daily workloads, performance, and development.
- Operations & Compliance: Coordinate all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across the site to meet strict SLAs and statutory requirements.
- Permits & Safety: Issue Permits to Work, conduct safety audits, and maintain high standards of Hard FM compliance.
- Problem Solving: Act as the technical point of escalation for complex faults, working with clients and contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for client representatives on-site, building strong professional relationships.

What We’re Looking For
- Technical Qualification: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- FM Experience: Strong background in commercial or high-spec Facilities Management environment.
- Leadership Ability: Proven experience supervising engineers, delegating work, and managing shift priorities.
- Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this site, candidates must hold Developed Vetting (DV) clearance (or be eligible and willing to undergo the vetting process).
Bonus Points (Desirable)
- Existing Authorised Person (AP) status or experience with isolation procedures.
- BMS (Building Management Systems) experience.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
