The Opportunity

A hotel can only deliver a great guest experience when the environment feels safe, comfortable, and dependable. As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in making sure that happens—often behind the scenes, but always with real impact.

We’re looking for a skilled and organised Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance activity, support the team, and ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, structure, and taking pride in a job done properly.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Day-to-Day Maintenance Leadership

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring tasks are prioritised, completed on time, and delivered to a high standard.
  • Coordinate rotas, assign work, and provide clear direction to the maintenance team.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for maintenance issues, responding calmly and efficiently.

Preventative Maintenance & Standards

  • Support the development and delivery of preventative maintenance programmes to reduce breakdowns and disruption.
  • Carry out regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying issues early and ensuring swift resolution.

Safety, Compliance & Care

  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety legislation and hotel procedures.
  • Promote a culture of care, responsibility, and attention to detail across the team.

Managing Resources Responsibly

  • Monitor energy usage and help introduce energy-saving initiatives where possible.
  • Support budget management for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed to standard, on time, and within budget.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
