A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our team as a Maintenance Shift Team Lead in Hull, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing, managing, and planning all maintenance activities within the Blade Production Facility! Imagine leading a dedicated team to ensure that all machinery, tools, and plant equipment are maintained in optimal condition, maximizing operating efficiency and minimizing downtime. You will be at the forefront of improvement initiatives, motivating your team and leading by example to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) initiatives. How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will supervise maintenance tasks assigned according to established quality guidelines and EHS requirements.
- You will assign tasks as necessary to team members and perform troubleshooting activities as the first level of escalation for technical or procedural problems.
- You will act as a Senior Technician, leading operatives technically while working as a Maintenance Operative approximately 60-80% of the time.
- You will coach and provide guidance to team members, including the induction and training of new starters.
- You will ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001), environmental standards (ISO 14000), and occupational safety and health regulations.

- You have a strong focus on health and safety, with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for high-quality work.
- You possess the ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- You are experienced in managing workflows, processes, and equipment to meet or exceed production targets.
- You have a collaborative mindset, building excellent relationships with colleagues and managers while prioritizing health and safety.
- You are comfortable working a shift pattern that includes nights and weekends, along with some handover time at the beginning and end of each shift.
