Maintenance Team Leader
Full time, Permanent
4-man team including TL
£46,000 per annum OTE of £48,000
Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm
Camberley
Essential Requirements:
- Significant maintenance and engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Previous supervisory, Team Leader or people management experience
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships and manage a diverse team
- Experience conducting appraisals, providing feedback and managing performance
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capabilities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands effectively
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and operational compliance requirements
Maintenance Planning:
- Lead, plan, and prioritise maintenance activities across the site, balancing preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and improvement projects
- Own and manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme, ensuring all tasks are completed to the required standard and timeframe
- Coordinate a prompt and effective response to equipment and machinery breakdowns
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Maintain effective spares and consumables management to support maintenance requirements

Continuous Improvement, Safety & Compliance:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and enhance maintenance processes
- Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs, including machine downtime, breakdown trends, response times, and repeat failures
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities
- Support adherence to ISO standards and company quality requirements
