Permanent | Full Time

A successful and well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to join its operation in Willenhall. This role is ideal for a hands-on senior maintenance engineer or engineering supervisor looking to take the next step into a team leadership position while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance activities.

The Role

The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment across the site. The role will involve:

  • Leading and coordinating a small maintenance team
  • Overseeing preventative maintenance activities
  • Carrying out and supporting electrical fault-finding and breakdown repairs
  • Coordinating contractor activities
  • Ensuring equipment inspections and maintenance records are kept up to date
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You

Candidates should have:

  • Significant maintenance engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or process environment
  • Some previous supervisory or team leadership responsibility
  • Strong electrical maintenance and diagnostic skills
  • Electrical installation, testing, or maintenance qualifications would be advantageous
  • Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, or other heavy industrial equipment would be beneficial
  • A practical, organised, and proactive approach to maintenance operations
