A successful and well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to join its operation in Willenhall. This role is ideal for a hands-on senior maintenance engineer or engineering supervisor looking to take the next step into a team leadership position while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance activities.
The Role
The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment across the site. The role will involve:
- Leading and coordinating a small maintenance team
- Overseeing preventative maintenance activities
- Carrying out and supporting electrical fault-finding and breakdown repairs
- Coordinating contractor activities
- Ensuring equipment inspections and maintenance records are kept up to date
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About You
Candidates should have:
- Significant maintenance engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing, heavy industrial, or process environment
- Some previous supervisory or team leadership responsibility
- Strong electrical maintenance and diagnostic skills
- Electrical installation, testing, or maintenance qualifications would be advantageous
- Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, or other heavy industrial equipment would be beneficial
- A practical, organised, and proactive approach to maintenance operations

The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts worked within a 06:00-22:00 operating window.
