As our journey begins, we're looking for a Maintenance Team Member - someone practical, proactive and people-focused, who takes pride in keeping our spaces safe, welcoming and working exactly as they should.

Your Part in the Kabannas Story

As part of our Maintenance Team, you’ll help keep the hotel, guest areas and Food & Beverage spaces running smoothly. You’ll be hands-on, responsive and organised, working closely with colleagues across the business to resolve issues quickly and protect the guest experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete routine maintenance checks and respond promptly to repairs across the hotel
  • Identify, report and resolve maintenance, safety and cleanliness issues to a high standard
  • Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance supplies, supporting stock oversight and ordering where required
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Front of House and Food & Beverage teams to keep operations running smoothly
  • Support the upkeep of coffee, beverage and service areas, ensuring equipment and spaces are clean, safe and ready for use
  • Communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, handling concerns with genuine warmth and professionalism
  • Support practical projects and improvements that help maintain Kabannas standards

Who You Are

You’re practical, approachable and comfortable getting stuck in. You take ownership of your work, communicate well and remain calm when priorities change or the hotel is busy.

Ideally, you:

  • Have experience in hotel, hospitality, facilities, maintenance or a similar hands-on environment
  • Have strong organisational skills, including experience with stock oversight, equipment checks or ordering
  • Understand the importance of high standards for cleanliness, safety and presentation
  • Bring strong communication skills and genuine warmth when working with guests and colleagues
  • Are adaptable and solution-focused in a busy, fast-changing environment
  • Can manage competing priorities and resolve issues with confidence and care
  • Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to Kabannas culture
