The Opportunity

A great hotel experience depends on the small things working perfectly—from lighting and heating to fixtures, fittings, and quick responses when something goes wrong. As a Hotel Maintenance Team Member, you’ll play an important part in keeping our hotel safe, functional, and welcoming every day.

We’re looking for a skilled, motivated, and dependable individual who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving, and being part of a supportive team. This is a hands-on role where your work makes a real difference to guest comfort and team confidence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Day-to-Day Maintenance Support

  • Carry out maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, primarily painting in guest bedrooms and public areas.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and calmly.

Preventative Care & Attention to Detail

  • Assist with routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, spotting issues early and helping prevent disruption.
  • Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes that keep everything working as it should.

Safety, Care & Standards

  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Take pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider hotel team, supporting tasks and projects as required.
  • Assist with coordinating contractors and suppliers, helping ensure work is completed to a good standard and within agreed timescales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
