Job Description
About the Role
We're looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Team Member on a part-time basis to join our team at Novotel Birmingham Centre. You'll help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented hotel environment for both guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Complete general maintenance repairs and rectify defects.
- Undertake painting and decorating works.
- Perform routine checks across bedrooms and public areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Support the wider team in maintaining hotel standards and compliance.

About You
- Previous hotel maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in DIY, maintenance, painting, or decorating is welcomed.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to carry out basic repairs safely and effectively.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
