Are you a multi skilled Maintenance Technician who enjoys getting to the bottom of faults and keeping production moving?

Our client is looking for a Shift Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing operation, supporting the smooth running of a busy production environment on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.

This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service equipment according to planned maintenance schedules
  • Respond to breakdowns as first line support
  • Diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines and moulding machines
  • Maintain ancillary equipment, automated cells and butt fusion equipment
  • Implement approved modification projects to capital equipment
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work safely and efficiently
  • Complete daily logs and data capture via CMMS system

Who They’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role
  • Proven fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with PLC fault-finding (desirable)
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (desirable)
  • Extrusion and injection moulding experience (desirable)
  • 18th Edition certification (desirable)
