What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team, delivering gutter cleaning and external property maintenance services across occupied and void homes. Working as part of a customer-focused team, you will be responsible for ensuring guttering and rainwater systems are clean, functional, and maintained to a high standard, helping to protect properties from water damage and improve the overall condition of homes.

This is a varied role that combines planned and reactive maintenance work, including gutter and down pipe clearance, routine inspections, minor repairs, and supporting wider roof line and drainage maintenance activities. You will work safely at height using appropriate access equipment and will be expected to identify and report defects, complete accurate records, and deliver excellent customer service to residents throughout every job.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Clear gutters, downpipes, hoppers, and drainage channels of leaves, moss, debris, and blockages.
  • Carry out routine inspections of guttering systems to identify defects, damage, or potential maintenance issues.
  • Repair or replace minor guttering components, brackets, seals, and downpipes where required.
  • Ensure rainwater systems are functioning correctly and water is flowing freely from properties.
  • Remove waste materials and dispose of debris safely in line with company procedures.
  • Work safely at height using ladders, access equipment, and scaffolding in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance works across occupied and void properties.
  • Identify and report defects such as damaged gutters, roof tiles, fascias, soffits, or drainage systems requiring further repairs.
  • Accurately record completed works, materials used, and any follow-on actions required.
  • Liaise professionally with residents and customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Ensure all work is completed to agreed quality standards and in compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Support wider external maintenance activities, including minor roofline, fascia, soffit, and drainage repairs where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
