Multi-Skilled Engineer – London

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a market-leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-performing maintenance team in London, supporting plant, equipment, and building services across a busy commercial contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building services, plant rooms, and site infrastructure.
• Maintain and support core FM systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, and general electrical systems.
• Complete routine statutory and compliance checks, ensuring all work is delivered safely and in line with site procedures.
• Respond to building-services faults, diagnose issues quickly, and complete first-time fixes where possible.
• Support minor plumbing, heating, ventilation, drainage, and fabric maintenance tasks as required.
• Work safely on low-voltage electrical systems, carrying out basic fault-finding, isolations, and repairs within competence.
• Use CAFM systems and mobile devices to receive, update, and close planned and reactive tasks accurately.
• Liaise with the client, site teams, and contractors to resolve maintenance issues and maintain a high standard of service delivery.
• Support permit-to-work processes, risk assessments, method statements, and contractor supervision where required.
• Act as a responsible and visible member of the engineering team, supporting wider FM operations and deputising for the Shift Leader when needed.
