About The Role
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities
- To plan, inspect and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs across the site.
- Respond to maintenance issues and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete all allocated PPMs and reactive work orders within agreed SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
- Carry out a wide range of building fabric repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Support the wider maintenance team with additional facilities management duties as required.
- Produce quotations for recommended remedial works.
- Ensure safe systems of work are followed at all times and comply with Health & Safety legislation.
- Deliver general handyman services, including basic ACOP L8 water hygiene tasks.
- Liaise with subcontractors, cleaning teams and security to ensure the effective management of the site.
- Participate in the call-out rota when required.
Essential Hiring Criteria
- Time-served Fabric Technician or Building Maintenance background.
- Previous experience within a commercial Facilities Management environment.
- General building fabric maintenance experience including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting and decorating, door repairs, flooring repairs, glazing, tiling, masonry, locksmith duties and suspended ceiling repairs.
- ACOP L8 awareness.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
- CSCS Skilled Card or equivalent qualification.
- Basic First Aid awareness.
- IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
