CNC Speedwell Ltd

CNC Speedwell Ltd is a busy machine shop located in Brownhills in the West Midlands. We are looking for an apprentice trained, experienced electrically biased maintenance technician to join our team.

You will have a broad electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will be happy working in both a proactive and reactive role managing your time to achieve best results for the company.

Essential Experience

  • Experienced with low voltage control and feedback systems.
  • Understanding of Fanuc, Siemens CNC control systems.
  • Working with DC drives.
  • Competent at reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic and other technical documents to research machine issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with replacing machine linear guides and ball screws.
  • Perform machine levelling and alignment.
  • Work well under pressure.

  • Apprentice trained and qualified with at least three years’ experience in performing maintenance on CNC machine tools.
  • Experience of horizontal twin spindle, twin pallet milling machines.
  • Working with Siemens Simatic HMI.
  • Forklift truck licence.
