Role Description
The Maintenance Technician role at Centrolift Ltd is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and lifting equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostics on loading bay systems, industrial doors, dock levellers, security barriers, security gates, scissor lifts, and passenger lifts.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance tasks, responding to equipment issues, and documenting all work completed to meet safety and compliance standards.
- Collaborating with service coordinators and other technicians.
- Providing technical guidance to clients.
- Ensuring that equipment downtime is minimized.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance, with experience working on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair activities, including diagnosing faults and performing corrective actions on industrial doors, lifts, and related equipment.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to identify potential issues early and maintain equipment reliability.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to industrial equipment and lifting systems.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to read technical drawings, service manuals, and interpret equipment specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, field-based environment.
- Effective communication skills and basic proficiency with digital tools for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
